ABOUT
Lucy Bruce-Gardner (b.1996) is a London-based photographer from Berkshire. Her work centres around photography’s potential to transcend documentation and become a medium for storytelling and cultivating meaningful connections. She playfully creates and conveys narratives exploring the experiences of young people with complex autism, artists in their studio environments, and the everyday lives of those close to her. The world she presents is one with no script. Her photographs create a balanced harmony between candidness and direction, documentary practice and fashion, which allow her subjects to reveal new ways of representing themselves.
